It wasn’t perfect. Deleting the wrong path can be scary. But going slow helped. I checked with which node or where node after each step. I kept backups of my dotfiles. And I only kept one install method per machine. That was the real win.

If you’re stuck, start simple. Remove the one you can see (Settings or Homebrew), then check. If it still shows up, sweep the leftovers. And breathe. You’ve got this.
